This combination is good because it brings together all conceivable and desirable properties such as strength, resistance to torque, and edge durability in a single blade. A 6 mm thick blade by itself would be strong enough for most tasks, but with laminate technology, an additional 20% resistance to bending is expected, compared to a regular VG10 blade.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp style=\"color: #999999;\"\u003eThe handle is made of specially selected oxhide leather, unfortunately a material that manufacturers often overlook, but it provides a secure and rugged grip. Dryness may cause small cracks in the handle, but they disappear when the knife is used again.
